YOU CAN FOCUS ON LOOKING AFTER CHILDREN

The main purpose of a FIRE LOG BOOK is to record all testing and maintenance of the fire safety within your nursery.

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (RRFSO) is the law relating to fire safety for non-domestic premises including Schools, in England & Wales. The duties of the “Responsible Person(s)” are specified in articles 8 through to 22, which encompasses the need to take general fire precautions, undertake a fire risk assessment and make appropriate fire safety arrangements, this should include “the effective planning, organisation, control, monitoring and review of the preventive and protective measures”.

This requires a detailed system of checking, maintaining and repairing (if necessary) of all fire safety equipment & precautions within your organisations premises on a regular and on-going basis, along with an appropriate level of training in fire safety of all employees. Remember all tests and maintenance must be record by law.

MW Early Years Fire Log Book is fully branded to your company, including logos, and holds provision for all details of your nursery and individuals responsible for carrying out testing and maintenance of your safety equipment. As well as detailed forms and checks, which specify at what intervals these inspections should carried out.
